We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Assistant to join the RoaR (Royalties and Reporting) team who operate within our client’s Financial Engineering mission.You are a passionate champion of Quality and have experience of defining and implementing a comprehensive QA vision and strategy. You realise the importance of understanding clearly what the business wants - and you make sure that the development teams have understood and implemented these requirements correctly.
You have excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate with numerous stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines.
Your responsibilities: - Advocate for Quality in for RoaR - provide quality advice and support to your colleagues on tasks across the entire SDLC Develop a deep understanding of our client’s Royalties and Reporting Business Requirements and be able to validate these against software solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to ensure that any defects or incidents have been fully captured in a reporting tool (jira) and can be easily understood
- Plan and execute manual test cases to validate the successful implementation of business and functional requirements
- Plan and execute manual test cases to verify the successful implementation of Change Requests and fixes to Incidents and Defects
- Create a manual regression test suite to minimise the risk of making changes to existing solutions Work closely with - Stakeholders to maximize the effectiveness of User Acceptance Testing
- Be able to comprehend and communicate effectively, rules and calculation logic within the Royalty and - Reporting workflow
- Work with Developers to design, develop and deploy a test infrastructure that will support end-to-end verification of the RoaR systems
- Create documentation as required

- You are used to working with large datasets and enjoy test modelling and analysis using tools such as SQL and Excel
- Experience of working in agile teams
