Support one of the largest financial institutions in Nordics to migrate complex data-warehouse from on-prem Teradata solution to cloud-based solution using Snowflake running in Amazon AWS.
Role is a business-side business analyst role, focus areas: - General support to application owner team in securing a successful migration, in close collaboration with other involved teams.
- Work with the application owner team in preparing, conducting, documenting continuous and final acceptance testing of the migrated solution.
- Work closely with IT migration team in preparing, conducting migration tasks
- Work closely with the IT operations team in preparing and conducting migration of operations to a cloud setting.
You will be part of a large and time-critical project, team-members will be distributed over Nordics, Poland, India.
Requirements: - 7+ years of relevant experience
- Motivated and self-reliant, not daunted by large complex solution, project and organization
- Proven data analysis background
o Need to understand dimensional models vs. 3NF etc.
- Ability to communicate succinctly in spoken and written English
- Python experience, or ability to learn basics quickly (experience from other languages could suffice)
- Some experience of agile methods and tools (e.g. Jira)
Advantageous but not necessary skills: - Treasury and Asset & Liability Management processes
- In-cloud data warehousing
- Deeper ETL design experience
- Deeper BI-tooling experience
- Code version control using git
